One thing I’ll never get over is Tony’s reaction after Steve says he knew about his parents death because that look of utter betrayal and that small intake of breath he does and the instantaneous gut flip I’m sure he feels is all so visible right there on his face. And it hurts more when you realize he was baiting his breath, hoping Steve would say no, staring him down and scanning his face and everything pointing towards ‘yes, Tony, he knew,’ but he still HOPES, like fuck, guys, that drawn out ‘dramatic’ spiel he does in Endgame was well-deserved
