A panel from Up My Street, a concertina book I published with Louise Lockhart to celebrate the independent shops of our High Street, before they all vanish between the twin perils of coffee shops and business rates, twinned to house prices. It was inspired in part by Ravilious's tribute to the Victorian shops threatened by war and development.
