Starting a new sundial

A couple of commissions for roses: wedding and Valentines Day. (some gentleman is way ahead of the game!) The roses are (very) slightly different styles and different thickness of metal. They aren’t extremely difficult, but very time consuming. Biggest difference were the stands. Very different styles.

First bit of serious forging after a year or so of wild medical rides. This is the first of two simple sundials that will be donated to a local rep theater fund raiser

There’s a polishing stone/rouge that I heard about some time ago, for zogan, but cannot recall who told me about it. So, I suspect I’m making things more difficult
