The Splash Dance shower radio was tempting just for the vibes, but I don't think any of the local radio stations are worthy of showering with me.
Oh boy it sure could have been bad if I'd used this very old iron on a project without testing it on some scraps first. Good thing I definitely didn't do that.
That would be especially embarrassing since I'm always telling people to do samples of everything. Haha yes it sure would not be great if, hypothetically, one of the raw edges inside my purple jacket was in fact.. well cooked.
(225 °C = 437 °F, and by comparison the hottest setting on my modern iron read 160 °C/320 °F)

Thames Iron Works is a derelict ship builders site on the banks of the River Thames at Blackwall, London. The works football team later became West Ham United. Hence the hammers on the club crest.
