This tumblr is a challenge to observe more and take a new photograph every day, randomly commencing on 24 June 2018. The photographs are not intended to be autobiographical. For many years they had no titles or comments (other than a day and a date) and were intended to speak for themselves. However in an effort to make each daily photograph more interesting, I am experimenting with a comment or title. Visit moreeverydaythings.tumblr.com/ to find out more about a particular day. Craters! I'm not expert on brickwork but I do wonder if this brickwork should be in this state especially as it is for the viaduct through Limehouse in London which carries the Docklands Light Railway. Probably as well it is not "heavy".
But notice the line! This is the Greenwich Meridian Line which runs straight through this building in Blackwall, London. I'm guessing there are some flats here that are partly in the Western Hemisphere and partly in the Eastern Hemisphere. How cool!
The building that looks like a face! The Skanderbeg Building in Tirana in Albania.
If you don't see the face immediately, try screwing your eyes up whilst looking at the photo of the building and you can see two eyes, a nose, a mouth and even an ear!
Not a case (no pun intended) of "lost" luggage but actually "left behind in Terminal 5" luggage along with an estimated 20,000 other suitcases on 15 May. Not British Airways' finest hour... or day. My luggage eventually caught me up 5 days later.
Former lock keeper's house at Salmon Lane Lock on the Regents Canal in Limehouse, London
I walk past this lock at least once a week. Unbelievably I cannot see I have ever taken a photograph of it, at least from this position. So here is one!
