Refusal to acknowledge different levels of oppression surely runs counter to intersectionality?

Sure, but I don't think that's what I'm doing here, because there isn't some kind of hierarchy that goes "Straight, Bisexual, Gay". There's "straight" and "not straight". Of course like a woc who's a lesbian will experience more discrimination than a white bisexual woman, but the bisexual woman in this case has white privilege, not "bisexual privilege"? or w/e?

Disagree with your tears post. Whilst it can be used maliciously, would argue that instead 'tears' are used to reference the fact that a group has institutional privilege - and the discrimination of the oppressed group for outweighs any problems faced by the privileged group.

I don't think you were being ignorant; in fact, I wish society was as you imagined it to be - one that required humanism. Was good to have the discussion though, hope you have a great week!

Yes! It would be so wonderful if we can see everyone all equally as humans, no judgement, all have the same rights and be accepting of everybody. But, we are human beings, it is human nature to have diverse opinions and views, people who are neutral, opposing or in agreement. It was a controversial text, me lacking information and people correcting me. Maybe people did not see how I perceived it. It’s not just men and women that need an equilibrium (although I feel it is more important), it is so much more than that, its between rich and poor, the corrupt and people who aren’t, sexuality, etc. But I think all-around equality in the human race is way too idealistic.Hope you have a lovely week as well, thanks for sharing your opinion. :)
