so coincidentally i was rewatching the chunin exams arc today for the millionth time and i happened to notice this because i’m pretty sure it’s actually gai’s first appearance in the series

there you have it! gai and iruka standing right next to each other, not even five feet apart so they definitely gay. just sayin.

in fact i have a theory about this because this is the same scene where kakashi and iruka have their little awkward public drama fest in front of all of their colleagues and honestly i think that iruka was so fucking pissed after that he was like “you know what? fuck hatake’s bitch ass. i’m gonna go suck gai’s dick instead. see how he likes that!!” and so iruka invites gai out for a drink and does, in fact, proceed to suck his dick afterwards.
