Broken Dream

What have I done ? All is lost, all is gone. 

The wonderful ideas of what could be with your soft lips saying "This is what should be."

You brought brightness in, when it was all dust and dark.

Like an old attic with beautiful things inside that just needs a good cleaning

But just as toxic as having asthma and if you tried to clear the dust, you'd die from asphyxiation.

I'll never be able to hold you the way I want to. At least not again ..

You were more than I ever imagined to find. Someone so kind, so pure, so gentle and so true to their words. 

I wish things were different, I wish I was different. 

But that's fate correct, always bringing what may come our way.
