Idea: Iruka grocery shops because he's thrifty, Alpha cooks the actual food ahead of time and Itachi just arranges it pretty in the bento boxes he packs. Maybe he'll cut up some fruit or salad, possibly make a jello dessert but that's it. No Stove for Itachi.

Iruka is banned from the kitchen, full stop, no negotiation.

Itachi is allowed in the kitchen, but banned from using the oven. He can chop and arrange and make no-cook meals. He is also allowed to use the rice cooker. That is all.

Alpha is allowed to use everything in the kitchen. They are also the only one allowed to offer 'supervision'. Iruka cannot supervise Itachi, or vice versa, because they make each other even worse 🙏

Eventually, Itachi slowly works his way up to average cook by trying harder than he's ever tried at anything. It just... takes a lot of ruined eggs before he gets to that point...

"I'm fine." It's such a bad habit to reply as such, but saying otherwise sounds like a plea for attention he doesn't deserve. He may also be distracted, brows furrowed in slight frustration, trying to overcome the loss he felt when Iruka's body pulled away from his. What was up with that?

“Okay.” Iruka takes in a steadying breath. He almost wishes Itachi had taken the opportunity to voice some sort of need. It would have given Iruka a distraction, and a reason to get out of bed. 

“...do you want to talk about this?” They could just forget it, not acknowledge whatever feelings were between them that made this happen in the first place and go on being unintended roomates.

Okay, so that anon sold me on the idea of Itachi x Iruka, so I've been thinking about how Itachi x Alpha x Iruka would go.

I've decided that my favourite dynamic is Iruka x Alpha to start with, both of them looking out for Naruto together of course. They met in their mid teens, became quick friends, and then fell in love just after Iruka started teaching.

The alpha works in the hospital as a mednin, Iruka teaches, Naruto is a menace, all is harmonious.

Itachi falls for Iruka first. He gets to know him through Sasuke being Iruka's student and gets a massive crush. It's his first proper crush and he's all confused and doing his repressed hair twirling. He does not know that Iruka is mated at this point.

Itachi falls for the alpha second. He meets them through the hospital, probably as they tend to a teammate of his after a rough mission. And they're so nice and friendly, and they kind of remind him a bit of Iruka. Itachi doesn't think anything of it until he has a very, very sexy dream where both the hot mednin and teacher feature quite heavily.

And then he finds out that they're mated to each other. I don't know how, I don't think it matters, but it causes a lot of very complicated feelings. On one hand, he's devastated, but on the other, he is now confident that they both have likely had sex with each other irl, which is not helping his dreams, night or day.

Itachi is such a mess that both Iruka and Alpha start to notice. They both find it very cute and endearing to watch his stoic face slowly take on a pink blush when either of them give him any attention, only to blossom into bright red when they give him attention at the same time.

Long story short, they get together, and the relationship is just the healthiest thing that Itachi has ever been a part of. Not just the healthiest romantic relationship mind you, healthiest thing involving another person ever.

They are all so cute together!

Itachi having a whole backlog of elaborate fantasies to act out by the time they all get together is priceless. He's been dreaming them up for months and they just got dirtier and dirtier. His most recurring fantasy is of him eating Iruka out while Alpha fucks him from behind and then getting to watch Iruka get railed sloppy after already cumming from everything Itachi did.

Itachi has been daydreaming and normal dreaming about them both for months, and he eventually gets to live his dream, I'm so happy for him 🥹

Itachi is a lot more subby than Iruka is, which is something he is only vaguely aware of, so all of them get to explore and enjoy his subby fantasies together!
