I used to have a Kakashi blog. Around the time of the first callout, I had finally realized just how toxic Nuu behavior was and didn't want to be friends with her anymore. She decided that I was behind the whole callout. She accused me w/o any evidence. And didn't bother to apologize. And then, she kept saying how horrible of a friend I was and how terribly I'd hurt her. I left the fandom bc of constant anxiety and panic attacks. I just wish that I could come back, but I just can't.
we are so sorry to hear of your experiences. nuu is a bully and an abuser - she blames people around her for trying to keep themselves safe from her toxicity. you did absolutely nothing wrong in distancing yourself from nuu. regardless of whether you return to this fandom or no, we hope you feel safer and happier. thank you for sharing your story.
Has Nuu finally deleted? I don't see them but I want to be honest here. I've always seen her had bad blood with someone for the past 5 years. It wasn't ever civil more like cut throat. I never knew her personally but when there was drama between two people, she would twist the words around to make it one person's fault without really talking to the other person because Nuu never liked their blog. I really wish they would see their behavior as problematic and toxic.
it DOES look like nuu has deleted! however, i would always be cautious when it comes to her - she may reappear under a new name or url, and at the same games. as for her drama, it does sound like her, absolutely. nuu always has to twist the story to make her seem the angel.
Insteresting blog!wish i'd seen this sooner, save me the troubles. I've always thoughts she was a bit distances.you could never really chat like friends. You have to act all perfect to be with her. a superficial relationship play by her rules.
we're sorry you had to experience nuu's behaviour. your experiences are unfortunately quite common with her; it's always her rules, or nothing.
My friend did have a long convo w/ her privately. Nuu showed like 5% insight, and the rest of the 95% was filled w/ those backwards apologies - "I'm sorry you think I did something wrong" "I'm sorry you think I hurt you" "we are just not compatible " - complete bullshit. even in private she's not willing to own up to her faults, either.
as expected, nothing is ever nuu's fault. we had a similar conversation with her where she refused to look at screen caps because it made her "uncomfortable." like her abuse wasn't uncomfortable?
16. Over and over again, till it’s nothing but a senseless babblev. Greasing the Wheels@irumino
The call came in and Iruka’s heart stopped.
He was the first one to respond. The first one to get to a squad car. The first one to make it to the scene.
The first one to expect the worst.
Gunshots. At Kakashi’s shop.
Kakashi didn’t fire unless someone made it past the dogs.
Or the intruder fired the first shot.
Mizuki.
Iruka was completely numb by the time he pulled into the parking lot of Kakashi’s garage-slash-home. His hands shook and his mind was completely blank but somehow he managed to get out of the car.
All he could think was that it was completely silent. Too silent. It shouldn’t be like that. It should be loud. Firefights were loud. He should hear the dogs barking, things being knocked over, metal clanging. Gunshots.
He couldn’t go in there. He couldn’t. He couldn’t face it. He–
“Umino!”
A hand on his shoulder shocked him back into awareness. Genma was there, looking concerned and determined. Everyone knew by now. Iruka belonged to Kakashi and Kakashi belonged to him. They were a pair. A family. A packaged deal.
Which is why it looked like the entire force was now in front of Kakashi’s garage, looking fierce. Kakashi belonged to the force as much as Iruka did and no one touched an officer or their family.
Iruka nodded and palmed his gun, “Lets go.”

Kakashi could say it all happened so fast, but honestly, it was one of the longest moments of his life. Fighting for his life wasn’t new to him - he was a veteran after all. Fighting one-on-one on his home turf was new, though. Even though the whole thing was in super slow-mo, instincts had kicked in and everything else flew the coop. Well, everything except one tiny thought…
Thank god Cheebs is with Sakura. Thank god Cheebs isn’t here.Thank god Cheebs is safe.
Thank god Cheebs is safe.
It was over now and still Kakashi could only think of Naruto. Of Naruto and Iruka and how thankful he was that Iruka finally agreed to let Sakura babysit today.
If not, things could’ve turned out a lot worse.
As it was, Kakashi was propped up against the nearest wall, surrounded by debris that was once his auto shop. His leg was definitely broken - his knee possibly shattered. He was going to be sporting a black eye for the next couple of days and he was pretty sure he’d snapped a couple of ribs but hey…
He was alive.
Naruto was safe.
“Kakashi!”
He put his hands on top of his head at the sound of the door opening, showing that he was unarmed. It didn’t matter, though. Iruka was already on his knees before him, running his hands over him, checking for any injuries.
Kakashi knew what he saw; a tired man, covered in blood, oil, and minor scrapes and bruises. His coveralls were torn in several places, his knuckles broken, a large bruise blooming across his cheekbone.
But he was the victor.
Mizuki was sprawled somewhere on the other side of the shop. He was still breathing... for now. Without emergency care, he might bleed out and, for once, Kakashi actually cared about that.
“I’m fine,” he smiled wearily, “Really, I am, but you should get paramedics to Mizuki. He’s in bad shape---” At that moment, Iruka laid a comforting hand on Kakashi’s knee. Pain seized his body and he groaned loudly, causing Iruka to jerk his hand back in a panic.
Okay, so maybe he wasn’t completely fine.
His knee was definitely shattered.
Mizuki had managed to land one good hit during the fight. During a moment of weakness, Kakashi had hesitated on a killing blow, giving Mizuki enough time to grab a nearby wrench and slam it against Kakashi’s knee.
It had been touch-and-go after that. Kakashi was hobbled and the fight for control had turned into a fight for his life. He had to work fast at that point. Once the adrenaline wore off, Kakashi wouldn’t be able to move. So he’d taken Mizuki down in the next minute and limped over to the shop phone and called for an ambulance.
“You’re hurt.” Iruka sounded incredulous, like he hadn’t actually expected Kakashi to be injured. They stared at each other in shock for a moment - Kakashi still reeling from the fight, and Iruka panicked over Kakashi’s injuries.
“It’s okay.” Iruka whispered, mostly to himself. “We’ll get the paramedics over here and they’ll fix you. You’ll be fine.” He turned to call out for the EMTs, but Kakashi grabbed him before he could, “Wait, if you call them over, there’s a chance Mizuki could die. I’m not in danger, but if you divide their attention, Mizuki will suffer the consequence.”
“You don’t want him to die?”
“I figured you might take offense to that.”
“So you...” Iruka tilted his head in confusion, “were worried about what I would think while you were fighting for your life...?”
Kakashi could only nod.
That’s when the waterworks hit. Iruka didn’t seem to notice the tears at first as he cut open the leg of Kakashi’s pants to assess the damage. As soon as he revealed the black and blue skin around Kakashi’s knee, though, Iruka broke down into weak sobs.
“Woah, hey--” Kakashi reached for his hand and gave it a light squeeze. “It’s okay. It’s over and I’ll be fine, I promise. Don’t cry--”
“I love you!”
Kakashi jerked like Iruka had hit his knee again, stunned. “I--” Hell, for once, he had no idea what to even say.
“I-I know you’re fine,” Iruka spoke around his sobs, “I know you’re okay, but I love you. I love you and I was scared. I was scared for you and I was scared for Naruto -- cause he loves you too, you know. He loves you so much. But I love you. I love you and I don’t know what I were to do without you and you’re worried about what I would think. I love that about you. I love everything about you. I love you, I love you, I--”
Kakashi put his hands on either side of Iruka’s face and pulled him in close, “Calm down, you’re blabbering again.” He pressed a light kiss to his lips, “I love you, too. And I love Naruto. You’ve given me something I’ve always wanted - a family. And I’ll be damned if anyone tries to take that away from me.”
He smoothed his thumb over Iruka’s jaw a pulled back a bit, “I love you, Iruka. I always will.”
irumino replied to your post: irumino replied to your post “give me the cat.” ...
“…he said he would be happy to have the cat. Now, give it to me.”
“oh. okay.” he scratches the side of his neck, contemplating iruka’s order. (it doesn’t even sound like a request, to be honest). “kuro is at home. it’s time for his nap, but you can pick him up later today?”
He huffs, scowling, and says again: "Give it to me. Where are you keeping it? I'll get it myself. What Kakashi likes is unrelated."
“shouldn’t you discuss it with hatake-san first?” one of the books he’s read since his misunderstanding regarding the dating scene has specifically mentioned how relationships are about compromise. or chemistry. explosion. something like that. “since he’s your significant other?”
