I was always fascinated by a poem.it was of a poet's words to his wife about the private moments they had.No poet i know have wrote about his sweet moments like this

The poem(or song) is from a 1997 tamil movie named 'Iruvar' where a character is singing this to his wife(or lover... I am not sure because i haven't watched the movie..sorry).voiced by Aravind Swamy. The scene which takes place during this song is plain yet it will give you the intimacy happened without showing any. It is single shot scene showing just 2 faces but the emotions are much than one can Imagine

The poem in tamil is as follows(the english translation by google is right below it):

என் காதலி

என் அன்பே

என் சிநேகிதி

உன்னோடு நான் இருந்த ஒவ்வொரு மனி துளியும்

மரநா படுக்கையும் மரக்காது காண்மநியாயே

தொண்ணூறு நிமிடங்கள் தோட்டாநைத்த காலம் தான்

எண்ணூறு ஆண்டுகளாய் இதயத்தில் கலங்குதடி

பார்வையிலே சில நிமிதம்

பயத்தோட சில நிமிதம்

கட்டி அநைதபடி காண்நீரில் சில நிமிதம்

இலக்கநாமே பாராமல்

எல்லா இடங்களிலும் முத்தங்கள் விதித்த மோஹத்தில் சில நிமிதம்

உன்னோடு நான் இருந்த ஒவ்வொரு மனி துளியும்

மரநா படுக்கையும் மரக்காது காண்மநியாயே

எது நாயம் எது பாவம் இருவருக்கும் தோயன்றவில்லை

அது இரவா அது பகலா அதை பற்றி அறியவில்லை

யார் தொடங்கா? யார் முடிக்கா?

ஒரு வழியும் தோன்றவில்லை

இருவருமே தொடங்கிவிட்டோம் இது வரைக்கும் கேள்வி இல்லை

அச்சம் கலைந்தேன் ஆசையினை நீ அனைத்தாய்

ஆடை களைந்தேன் வெட்கத்தை நீ அணைத்தாய்

கண்ட திருகோலம் கனவாக மறைந்தால்

Translation:

My lover

My dear

My friend

every moment that i have spent with you, i will not forget even in my death bed

the ninety minutes that we spent together, will stay in my heart for the next eight hundred years

the few minutes we spent gazing at each other

the few minutes we spent in fear

A few minutes in tears as the hug closed

without concern for appropriateness, the few minutes we spent laying kisses all over each other

every moment that i have spent with you, i will not forget even in my death bed

which is right and what is sin, neither of us considered it

had the day dawned, had the night set, neither of us knew it

who started this, who's going to end this. neither of us saw a way

we started it together, and now there exists no questions

I shed my fear, you embraced desire

I shed my cloths, you embraced shyness

even if i recall that captivating face as nothing but a dream

I will still feel that last tear you shed as a wetness on my palm

every moment that i have spent with you, i will not forget even in my death bed(2)
