Hey, back again. I was listening to Lie to Me last night was wondering if you had done a lyric analysis of it. Cause I know it was supposedly written about Luke's ex, and I am curious
Haven’t done a lyric analysis, but be careful of accepting public narratives. Watch the music video. Ash is onlooking wearing a bright red shirt. The video was recorded at Irwindale Racetrack. There’s an ongoing theme of old cars in Luke’s videos. 90’s style cars. Ash was born in 1994. Ash has a thing for old cars. Something tells me there’s some symbolism of the cars. Something I’ve found interesting as a theory.
