Today was a good day! Maybe I haven't written as many words as I wanted, but what I did write was tricky and a scene I was honestly nervous about ever since I first wrote its skeleton in my notebook. But now it's done and I am very happy with it!
Regarding the gift-buying scene, I decided it will have to be pushed to a later chapter. It doesn't flow as well as I thought here, so I cut it out of this update ( ཀ ʖ̯ ཀ) It's a pity, in a way, because the merchant is so cute, I was looking forward to writing the MC interacting with her lol. On the bright side, it seems I have unwittingly made some progress to Chapter 6.😄
This was the last "I'm kinda nervous about this" scene for the update. The kind of scenes where past Ana was sure future Ana would curse her decision-making choices - which I did - are over. Smooth sailings ahead, I hope.
