Got to London yesterday. Sort of slept last night. Had bleary eyed breakfast this morning and caught the train to Ipswich from Liverpool Street by a whisker. Beautiful afternoon here followed by a chilly but lovely evening. This is officially the craziest wedding I have been to. There’s a large glossy brochure with time tables of the 800 things you can do over the next few days. What is opera meditation? The pink Tudor cottage at the top is where we’re staying. The water is part of the moat that runs around the entire cottage so no dragons can come here? There’s  boat in our moat, but it’s full of rain water.

Middle photos are the main house. My cousin told me it was a ten minute walk from the house we’re in to the main house. Turns out it’s 6 miles away and you actually cannot walk there from here. Three or four people staying here have cars.

There’s an ice cream van coming, there’s sound healing (????), yoga, and lots of alcohol. Tomorrow evening there’s a Gatsby inspired black tie dinner party safari. I am not making this up. You have to go from house to house. There’s going to be flamenco lessons and clay pigeon shooting. At least 100 sheep roam out by the lake, but no one is going to shoot them. They seem very sweet. One of them is magenta.

Think I’ll get the Inspector’s Scandal up to 3 as soon as possible so somebody can hear the most scandalous thing he ever did (I’d make it Scandal and Suspicion if gaining the latter didn’t go completely against his grain), but after that one I think I’ll have to stop reciprocating for a bit (or at least there’ll be a delay). I want to be completely sure the Inspector gets Var’s confession of guile, so I guess until that’s accepted I can’t seek more than five other confessions in all.
