Sakuyama: *exists*
Almost every fanfiction about them so far: they gotta fuck at some point
avatar does a lot of things right in terms of representation but one of the things that has always rubbed me the wrong way is that there is clearly a lot of south asian especially hindu and buddhist influence in the shows philosophy but like 2 south asian coded characters, bumi and guru pathik, one of whom is a walking stereotype.
my personal idea, have the old air nomads from some of the temples be sa coded, not only because a lot of the stuff aang says in about his life 100 years ago actually rings very similar to the beliefs and teachings i was given when i was younger, but also because it would be a great thread linking guru pathik to the air nomads and his origin
alternatively or simultaneously you could have earth kingdom be partially coded as sa like have omashu as sa coded since you already have bhumi there or as part of the fire nation in some way seeing as Agni is the literal hindu god of fire that they repurposed

I'm so concerned about Harry right now. Never have I seen him like this, even in the most stressful 1D days he looked physically healthy to me. Or is this only my warped recollection?
I'm not sure what you're talking about anon. I don't want an explanation! I don't think talking publicly about their physicality helps anyone.
So all I'll say is that I think it's a fantasy to think that because someone's physicality resembles what you think of as some kind of ideal of health that that actually tells us anything about their wellbeing. I think it's safest to remember that they could be fine, or they could be in a really bad place, whatever their physicality.
Even if the prospect of filling out a relatively brief online form fills you with more dread than the theft of all your personal data.
Data breech accountability is near and dear to my heart, and this is a great set of instructions!
"Go claim your $125 from Equifax. Right now. Even if $125 isn’t a sum of money that matters to you, even if you don’t feel you were really directly affected by the breach. Even if the prospect of filling out a relatively brief online form fills you with more dread than the theft of all your personal data."
(The form took six minutes, from my phone, and I added the time spent freaking out in Sept/October 2017 as well as my now-annual All Three Credit Report review.)
Muscles are just such a good metaphor for life I wish I was good enough at pretty words to express it. Anything I say will just come out like exhausted ramblings, which it kinda is. Just know that part of me means well by that comparison, but I’m not making some lame statement about strength and endurance. Contract, relax. Contract to stand up, relax when you’re done.
