I will NEVER stop drawing them. Have another little quick sketch to warm up y'all's cold hearts:
damn they should have had this guy talk to those waystar kids
what makes you satisfied?
The simple things. Always the simple things.
turned out this guy i liked and am friends w is a massive republican and trump supporter and so... while the crush has ended cause fuck that, it’s gonna b harder to cut him off because my sister and other friends are friends w him and. idk if we’d be able to have a civil talk about politics
I can't wait to see all the ways everyone tries to snap a picture of David while pretending they are taking a picture of something else. Prize to most creative.
Starstruck!
So I jumped on my bike to get more pencils from my local supplier. Pedaling through a park I suddenly see one of the artistic heroes of my childhood, illustrator Sven Nordqvist. He is the father of some of Sweden’s most iconic children’s book characters, Pettson & Findus, Mamma Mu & Kråkan, Nasse. His books had a huge impact on me and really set the standard for what I though illustrations should be when I started to taking steps towards becoming an illustrator.
So I stop and start talking to him. I guess it must have been utterly confusing, partly because I can’t have been all that cohesive, partly because I don’t think he is used to being recognized in the street. Most Swedes are familiar with his work and millions love it but he is not a public figure.
Anyhow, I did not want to impose all that much and left him bewildered after just a little conversation during which we actually realized we had mutual professional acquaintances and that I wouldn’t be able to come to the opening of his big exhibition next weekend not all that far from my town (due to illustration deadlines). Though I definitely will go as I have been looking forward to the exhibition for some time.
I’m not sure I want to know what impression I made but at least I won’t regret not stopping to say hello ^_______^
oh bollocks, I’ve got Sam in two different places for the end of the final battle and I don’t know how to keep both and keep the timeline the way I want it. i just like both scenes damnit.
