I got almost no thoughts about dashcon but I just keep seeing people dissing it by saying it's "populated by teenage [white] girls [wearing flower crowns/with fandom shirts/squealing about some thing the author obviously disapproves of]" and it's like
a. who do you think populates MOST cons b. remind me why teenage girls are a bad thing c. remind me why teenage girls being excited about WHAT THE CON ADVERTISES ITSELF AS BEING ABOUT is a bad thing
like go ahead and bash the con for being lame, but out of the million and one things the con staff have done wrong that's bash-worthy, you pick...the attendees being teenage fangirls?? have you been to a con?
