Jedi Padawan Caleb Dume is preparing for the trials that will make him a Jedi Knight when he meets Hera Syndulla, one of the youngest-ever cadets to the Republic's peacekeeping Starfighter Corps. As war tears the galaxy apart, can their love endure?
This is more of a "what if?' or alternate timeline of the prequel era that focuses on Hera and Caleb, and begins about seven years after Order 66 and the fall of the Republic would have occurred in the original timeline. It's based on the premise that Senator Palpatine was unable to manipulate Queen Amidala into calling for a vote of no confidence in Chancellor Valorum, thus preventing him from becoming Chancellor at that point in time, and creating a major setback in his nefarious machinations.
Bonus: Kanan doesn't die in this one.

Anyway, that's all I really have to say about it. It felt way better than I expected, given how depressed I was about that Ahsoka shitshow. Maybe it's because an AU and I can just completely ignore that show. I've also unstuck myself and figured out a way forward, so maybe I'll actually update it again! Exciting shit.
