I accidentally ended up on the zero brain cells Star Wars algorithm on Instagram. Behold:
This fucking idiot bitch. Sir, Dave Felony has been stealing ideas from Legends for over a decade! I will say, though, Felony compensates incredibly well for his lack of creativity with Advanced Fuckery Level bullshit skills. Only this motherfucker can somehow make stealing ideas from more creative people sound like he gives a shit about Legends dorks. If he cared about y'all, he'd make more of an effort not to utterly bastardize characters like Thrawn.
It's weird to me that Andor didn't make it clear to SW fans what a fucking hack Felony is. Why are some of you still simping for him? Do you not see the galaxy of difference between the skill that went into writing Andor, versus the skill that went into Ahsoka? Ahsoka is terrible garbage. I can't believe there's another season of that bullshit coming.

Me reading this 10/10 no notes review:
Haven't been on in a while, but I'm trying to think of some ways to raise money for my very dear friend Sahar who lives in G-a-z-a, and her four children. It would be a raffle-style fundraiser- each person who donates will be entered to win a Star Wars-themed prize. I do have some Star Wars stuff I'm considering parting with, possibly including a Lorna Ka original of Kanan Jarrus. But I think to begin with, I'll just offer two free tickets to Mando & Grogu, plus some extra money to spend on concessions (likely in the form of a gift card to the theater of the winner's choosing, which means you don't actually have to go see Mando if you're not feeling it. As long as you donate at least $5 to help my friend, you'll be entered to win. I'm just trying to gauge interest, at this point.
A bit about my friend Sahar:
She's only 32 years old, trying to survive horrific circumstances like starvation and constant illness. She's the mother of four beautiful children. She's fought so hard for the past two years to keep them alive and healthy, against terrible odds. I don't think people really understand how bad it is to live there. Every single thing that we take for granted is a struggle- and that's by design. No electricity. No clean water. Insects biting all night long, no medicines or bug repellents. Everything exorbitantly expensive. Illness is rampant- even the most minor things can become serious and require expensive treatment, like a cut finger or an infected baby tooth. All the while, the threat of death from above looms large. My friend is going through a severe depression right now, after 2 years of this life. Her children suffer from PTSD. I can't show you her face, but these are her children. This picture was taken for Eid.
This is her little girl Sila, who has an ongoing tooth infection. These medicines are often bought instead of food. Sila was in severe pain and unable to eat what little food they had without treatment.
If you feel like donating without the incentive of a prize, this is her campaign. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you for reading this far! It means so much to me.

Just popping in to share something I saw today regarding The Mandalorian & Grogu:
"Lucasfim brass is annoyed". I would bet my left arm that the specific brass is named Dave Felony.
Aside from that, it's very much worth noting that Disney is on the BDS targeted boycott list for Palestine, and that they tried to pull Kimmel and violate the first amendment by bending the knee to America's authoritarian regime and, of course, greed. We should all be boycotting them and cancelling our subscriptions. Very unfriendly reminder that if you're prioritizing your fandom over real life shit, you're part of the problem and complicit. Joy is NOT resistance if you're supporting oppressors financially or otherwise. Not to mention you have fucking lost the plot and have learned nothing from Star Wars.
Here's the article

I woke up yesterday and this was the first thing I saw on IG:
My friend Sahar lives in Deir al-Balah. I checked her status online- she hadn't been active on IG in over 7 hours, which is very unusual for her. Immediately messaged her wanting to know if she was ok.
Fortunately, she was back about 10 minutes after I sent the message- this airstrike hit the houses right next to hers. She and her family weren't in the house when it happened, otherwise they likely would have been injured or killed.
Sahar is 6 months pregnant, with three children. Like everyone in Gaza, they're being starved. It's unbearably hot. Drones buzz overhead all day long, every day. They can't sleep at night due to the heat, bugs, and constant bombardment. They're being tortured from every direction, deliberately, by Israel, funded by the US. They depend on our donations for survival.
I also have another friend in Gaza- his name is Ahmed, and he's just 18 years old. He's trying to provide for his family of 7, including his injured father. This would be a heavy burden even under normal circumstances. Ahmed recently lost people close to him- Israel murdered his friend, and his cousin.
If you can help, their Chuffed dot org campaigns are below. These are real people in Gaza who are suffering. They have been verified, by me and several other people. I've sent them multiple donations, which they've received, and they sent me pictures of the food they bought.

If you can't donate, there are plenty of other things you can do, like boycotting. Be careful about where you do spend your money, if you're able to. McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Unilever, KFC, L'Oreal, Sabra hummus, Soda Stream, Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola... There's a long list of companies and brands, and multiple handy apps to help, like No Thanks and Boycat. Write letters. Make calls. Post about it on your social media. Me: why aren't Star Wars fans talking about Gaza
Weird Star Wars fan: BECAUSE THEY'RE BROWN AND THE GHOR WERE WHITE AND ANDOR WAS BAD ON EVERY LEVEL
It took me 30 seconds of scrolling their blog to find the RebelCaptain post. Look, I get that y'all are weird ass dorks, but what we're NOT going to do is use this particular issue to launch a diatribe against a stupid fucking star wars show because we're mad it didn't honor our favorite star wars ship. My point in making that post really had nothing to do with Andor, anyway- it had to do with Star Wars fans watching these movies and shows for years, and wearing rebel starbird merch, and banging on endlessly about how their favorite characters are so heroic and badass- but when it comes to real life genocide, real defenseless people being bombed, real fascism, real forced starvation, well...not so much, eh? I don't give a fuck if you didn't like Andor. I give a fuck that you're not saying shit about the multiple genocides going on right now, one of which is directly being funded by your tax dollars (if you live in the US) and/or supported by your government.
Speak out, it's not too late. If you can, provide direct aid to families who are starving (I can help direct you if you're interested).
Hey Star Wars nerds, why am I seeing almost none of you speaking out for Gaza? Y'all were weeping over Ghorman a couple months ago and now it's just crickets when you see a real live genocide on your phones? I saw a video of an Israeli tank RUN OVER a human being the other day. Where are the self-proclaimed rebels, huh?
Sure, it's Syril- but he wasn't wrong!
I'm usually here to talk about Star Wars and drag Dave Filoni, but today I'm here to appeal to fellow Star Wars fans (and anyone else who sees this) on behalf of my friend Sahar in Gaza. As you hopefully already know, Gaza is suffering horribly right now. Israel has been bombing them for almost two years, and now they've blocked food and other aid from entering the border crossings. People are starving to death, and the little food available is exorbitantly expensive. Flour for bread can cost hundreds of US dollars.
Sahar is a real person in Gaza. She's verified, and we've discussed her horrible situation at length. She's the mother of three beautiful children, and she's 5 months pregnant. Her 9 year old son Ahmed is not well and has recurring tonsilitis. He needs a tonsillectomy, but he won't be able to get it in Gaza. Tonsilitis may not sound serious, and that's because it's usually very treatable in most places. In Gaza, though, it could be deadly- swollen tonsils can close off the airway and suffocate a child, or cause sepsis. Sahar is struggling with pregnancy in addition to trying to feed her kids and keep them alive- she's not getting adequate nutrition- she also suffers from IBS and recurrent terrible urinary tract infections. Medicine is very expensive and hard to come by.
In her own words:
I know many of us are struggling right now and can't afford to donate. But please at least reblog this post if you can't do anything else. Reblog any posts like this- boost these campaigns. Please speak out. What Israel is doing to Gaza is another holocaust. It's unfathomably evil. We must do whatever we can to stop it, and to help those within Gaza to hold on and survive.

Star Wars taught us to fight for people who can't fight for themselves, and that even small acts can make a difference. Anything you do to help Gaza, no matter how small, is SOMETHING. So find something to do, like reblogging this post. Thank you! Sahar thanks you, too!
I keep reblogging this and not even one like. Y'all on Tumblr are embarrassing.

I posted about adding all the versions of "Niamos!" to my Star Wars playlist yesterday, today I'm posting about some other things that are on there because I'm bored and procrastinating about doing housework.
If you don't know about this one, please do yourself a favor and watch all the Star Wars videos by Bad Lip Reading:
I love this game, and this has become one of my favorite pieces of Star Wars music.
My favorite one from Star Wars Rebels:
There's nothing like John Williams, and Rey's theme is just. So good. Arguably one of the best things to come out of the sequel trilogy.
Did you know there's an album for the music you hear in Oga's Cantina at Galaxy's Edge? And the songs are written in Star Wars languages?
I love the whole concept of this, it's so funny to me. Plus, the songs are pretty good!
