Hi. Thank you for your great meta. I was optimistic about D/C because it looked like they were on the same page in the end, but then I read your meta about Jack being Cas's priority now and I've lost hope again. I hadn't realised the separation ran so deep. When Chuck said to bring Mary back if Dean would kill Jack, was that symbolic for Cas of foreshadowing too? Dean chose not to kill Jack, but he also said that she was his hero before refusing her back. That's not a parallel, is it? 😓

Well this is angsty right now. But you know when a child comes for the first time into a family is very common the father become a little Jealous bc the mom just change her priorities in the exactly same way Castiel did. The child comes first. That doesn't mean the mom stops loving her husband. But in this family, the thing that separated them was the way they affronted Jack's situation. Dean was so hurted because his mother was dead, that his toxic behavior came straight to get him. So... He took this position. Till he had to confront Jack face to face, as you said, there was love in his eyes, love bc Jack is his chosen son too.

So don't worry, there's hopes this whole situation will solve in the next season. I really hope Dean and Cas can have a talk, a really talk, without interruptions and with honesty. I wait for that.

Isn't bad that Castiel changed his priorities now, a son comes always first. But doesn't mean he doesn't love Dean anymore. And maybe this could be another lesson to learn for Dean, and finally try to use his words with Cas. Just let's sit here and wait.

And about that mirror, I didn't Thought about that, and is a good one... But I guess now they have a huge thing to take care about, and Jack isn't one of the bad guys, by the contrary, I think he is the one who will be fixing and restoring things... But is just a spec.

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “O Allah! There is no life worth living except the life of the Hereafter, so (please) make righteous the Ansaar and the emigrants.” [Sahih Bukhari] A powerful king, ruler of many domains, was in a position of such magnificence that wise men were his mere employees. And yet one day he felt himself confused and called the sages to him. He said: “I do not know the cause, but something impels me to seek a certain ring, one that will enable me to stabilize my state. I must have such a ring. And this ring must be one which, when I am unhappy, will make me joyful. At the same time, if I am happy and look upon it, I must be made sad.” The wise men consulted one another, and threw themselves into deep contemplation. Finally, they came to a decision as to the character of this ring which would suit their king. The ring which they devised was one upon which was inscribed the legend: THIS, TOO, WILL PASS. This life, however it is, will pass. A drop compared to the ocean is what this life is compared to the Hereafter. And the ocean of the next existence will be wonderful only for the righteous.
