I could be insane but I think there was a thing in AFLH where Charlie almost met Mike’s mom but got scared. Any chance of Charlie meeting her or Mike’s mom making an appearance otherwise? It’s very fun to see a character very evenly ‘in the know’ while being separate from the darker bits of the story.

Yes! There actually is a chapter scheduled where Isabelle and Patrick both come for a visit. Though I won't go into too much detail now about what happen. ^_^

It is. There's a specifically different feel to a situation when Isabelle's involved. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it's almost like a wake-up call how separate she is from the main conflict when she steps into focus once more.

Perhaps that's how it must feel for Mike. You've got animatronics and puppets, about two dozen little munchkins clawing your legs, the cat's somewhere, Freddy's is under fire, and- Hi Mom!
