Is chapter 110 going to be a happy interlude (I think that's what it's called at least), like with the previous final chapters?
Yes! We will get a breath in there, no worries!

Is chapter 110 going to be a happy interlude (I think that's what it's called at least), like with the previous final chapters?
Yes! We will get a breath in there, no worries!
to be fair on the plot hopping part, the original series also kinda that with Fnaf 3, 4, and Sister Location.
True, BUT we didn't have as many direct plotlines and the scope was much more small.
Fnaf 3- Springtrap is revealed to be the Purple Guy, he burns in a fire in the end. Left open plotline: Springtrap survived? (Resolved in following games)
Fnaf 4- The Crying Child's story. Left open plotline: Who was the Crying Child? (Not yet resolved)
Sister Location- Michael Afton, backstory on William, and Elizabeth-Circus Baby. Left open plotlines: What happened to Michael? Where did Ennard go? Did Michael find Springtrap? (Resolved in the next game)
Fnaf 4 was the only one that went a little outside of the plotline, as both of the others directly involved William Afton. While Sister Location was the only one with a big cliffhanger attached. Fnaf 3 teased that Springtrap survived, but that's not the same since the main story beats came to a close. And the story itself was much smaller.
And in Sister Location's case, the next game DID directly follow up on the storylines. Even if some of them were resolved offscreen.
But in this case we would be coming off two very heavy story games, with more characters who were directly in the limelight, and then just jumping to a new location.
Ruin's leftover plotlines: - What happened to Cassie? Did she survive? - What happened to Roxy? - What happened to the Mimic? - Was that Gregory/What happened to Gregory?
Secret of the Mimic's leftover plotlines: - What happened to Arnold? - What happened to the Mimic? - Did did/how did Fazbear Entertainment get the Mimic?
And the plot thread between them that has not been solved, how did the Mimic get from MCM to the Pizzaplex, and what's up with this whole Glitchtrap thing?
It could work! But I would fear that it would result in another situation where a lot of plots are either not resolved or are resolved off-screen.
I honestly thought it was actually kind of funny that Mike was older than Foxy, like it was another reason why he didn't approve lol
XD That would have made a lot of sense actually! Though I did want to have Mike and Foxy be at least close in age so there was a little butting heads in the beginning. But he was definitely supposed to be the younger one, and the youngest of his friend group with Fritz and Jeremy.
Which makes the fact that he dragged them into opening an offshoot of Freddy's a lot goofier. 😆
Thank you Mable ❤️
Oh, you're very welcome! 🫂I'm not sure for what, but thank you for that!
Knowing you’re a fan of 9, do you like Coheed & Cambria? I have a cherished memory of seeing the trailer in theaters as a wee boy and hearing Welcome Home
I haven't listened to a lot of them, but the song Welcome Home is really near and dear to me! 😊I still got it on my phone and occasionally the randomizing goblin inside circles around to it. 😆
I think the first time I saw anything about 9 was on a single commercial, and then I forgot all about the movie and got REALLY into it four or five years later after stumbling upon it again. XD
Mable I'm scared for the next chapter
You should REALLY be scared of the chapter afterwards.
Not that the next chapter won't be intense, but it's also going to be back to Foxy and Glamrock Freddy. They're not down THERE.
Was there any art of Rambley's mo-cap suit?
Not as far as I'm aware, sorry!
As of now, Steel Wool released 2 images of… SOMETHING and people are speculating that it’s a new Fnaf game that takes place in an aquatic setting (or at least, a summer theme). What do you think about it?
And if you truly believe that it is an aquatic Fnaf game, what do you hope for it to show? Personally, I hope that Foxy’s former crew, Rocktupus, and just a straight up evil mermaid animatronic to show up just cause I’d think it be cool.
I kinda hope it's not, both because it would mean some serious plot hopping and because it would totally overshadow Indigo Park's third chapter, lol. That one's gonna have swimming in it!
But more so, it just feels weird to go from Cassie stuck in the basement with the Mimic, to in the past with the Mimic, to suddenly at a waterpark. (Not to mention the book discourse that will come back)
Plus, I've sorta been burned out by all the liminal space poolrooms stuff that's been coming out for the last two years. There was a time when it was like every week there was a new game that looked great but also sort of looked the same. 8/
But it might still be good! I trust Steel Wool after Sotm. As long as it's as solid as that game, I'll have fun with it!
Edit: Additional hopes- Maybe have Monty return for another appearance. He needs more stuff to do. XD
Hey Mable, I just discovered your biggest Fnaf fanfic series and recently finished binging your recent Home entry. I loved how (despite how big the cast is) you gave each character their needed scenes to show their arcs and personality (especially the pizzaplex animatronics). My only complaint is that I feel like that Beelora and the DJ needed one more scene or two (especially since last time we saw them was their tense “bond” moment) unless I missed or forgot something.
Also, this is completely optional but, mind giving us a hint of what that “thing” is in the final few chapters? I have a pretty good idea what that is but I like to have a bit more to work with 🧐. Again, this completely optional and it’s fine if you say no.
Oh, thank you so much! I try to give everyone a good amount of time and growth- though I won't deny, I have gotten biased and given a few characters a little too much. XD Though there hasn't been any complaints yes, so I think I'm in the clear!
But yeah, you're right. Funny enough, there's a reason for that. See, initially the DJ was going to have a different direction and plot that ended up getting shelved- for good reason! But it cut back on some of his time. But I plan to make up for that in the next book! Though expect to see those two before GHIAB is over. ^_^
Sure! I'm assuming you mean the wire thing, correct me if I'm wrong.
It's basically an amalgam of all sorts of things and junk from around the Pizzaplex. The wires- the ones Bonnie was sapping electricity from for so long- those discarded bodies he used in his last amalgam form, Staff Bots, the junk that was thrown down into that fake lake pit-
It's a fever dream. Mari's very sick and Bunny's not the one in control.
This is probably THE most ill-timed question considering everyone in GHIAB is going through it, butttttt
Where's the washer and dryer in Mike and Mari's house? With the way the house has been described I can't figure out where they'd go and it's lowkey driving me insane the more I think about it.
No problem! It's awkward to get a good map since I was never able to draw the layout. XD So, at the end of the hall is Charlie's room/Elizabeth's old bedroom. Then the hall turns to the right.
There's a very small section there. Not even a full hallway, but a part of the hall. A continuation. On the left wall is the door to the master bedroom, which is the very back of the house, right? But straight ahead from the hall, right beside the master bedroom door, is a nook with folding doors. That's where the washer and dryer is!
Hope that didn't sound as confusing as it felt to right. 😅It's perfectly set up in my head, but really hard to get out.
I feel like I've missed important information in ghiab, like who are those doctors (Tallbart or something I think it was??) and how do they know about the animatronics? I've forgotten the plot 😭
Sure thing! Spoilers ahead, read at you own risk!

So, the first time Dr. Taggart is mentioned is with Jake, Andrew, and Bunny. Taggart was doing experiment on old relics of Freddy's or related, trying to find things that were haunted and believing it was due to emotional residue instead of active haunting.
While experimenting on Fetch's remains (who Andrew was possessing), Jake, who was in his old doll and had been acquired by Taggart as well, spoke up. Taggart was thrilled at this and after interviewing Jake and getting what he could, he took parts from both Fetch and the doll to make the endoskeleton that was later known as the Stitchwraith, which was possessed by both Andrew and Jake.
Bunny, who was possessing a rabbit doll that was also stored by Taggart, convinced the two to escape with him and they managed to flee from his home. During which, a shelf was knocked onto Taggart but he survived.
Talbert was first mentioned by James Wight, the CEO spearheading the creation of the Pizzaplex and return of Fazbear Entertainment. At first it seemed like they were simply working together on technology for the Pizzaplex, but later things became more cryptic when workers found the body of a missing technician.
Talbert took over the handling of the body and got everyone to sign waivers and swear to secrecy while he dealt with it. However, as revealed soon after and then followed up on later, Talbert did not report the body at all instead took it somewhere else...
The truth about Taggart and Talbert was finally revealed in the false finale arc- in the 90s chapters. Mike and the others go down the elevator in Roxy Raceway, into the sinkhole that has been a problem for the Pizzaplex. Only to realize it's not a sinkhole, but an underground establishment and laboratory a'la Afton Robotics Incorporated (the building that houses Circus Baby's Rentals in Home).
Getting into a suspiciously left open computer (a'la Vanny) the truth about everything is finally revealed.
Dr. Taggart and Dr. Talbert are scientific partners and work with their own company, Talgart Industries (a name teased earlier in the Eleanor chapter). Talgart Industries has been funding the Pizzaplex to expand their endeavors and research. What research?
Well, these two have acquired information from both ARI and leftover files from the fake pizzeria fire, among other things, and are very aware of the haunted animatronics. Whether it's investigating these 'emotionally charged items' or building android bodies to extend human life, they're looking into the hauntings to do so.
And creating the perfect environment to do so. The Pizzaplex, in fact, isn't just an innocent entertainment venue. It was made specifically as to encourage the same thing that happened at Freddy's to happen again. People die, they cover it up, and they see what begins to come to life in the meantime. And in the case of Glamrock Freddy the experiment is seemingly working as planned.
But the most concerning part is the knowledge they have about Marionette and the other living animatronics. They label Mari as 'Patient Zero' and are aware that he is what has brought many animatronics to life, and are keeping an eye on him. Seeing him as being docile at Foxy's, they looked to lure him in without intending to restrain him- however, they built the Glamrocks with the means to subdue and capture him if needed. Each of the Glamrocks' upgrades is actually tailored specifically for this. So that if things didn't work out, or if they lost track of the puppet, they could have a backup to reclaim him.
They're also tracking down Ennard, who they believe is the Mimic who they are looking for. Because of this, they dumped Eleanor, a refitted attendant bot, into the dump where he is known to prowl. However, Sarah ended up finding her first and that became a whole thing.
In short, Dr. Taggart and Dr. Talbert are two pretty big threats who have been working in the background of GHIAB and were only just now seen for what they really are. This is only the beginning of an ordeal with them though, because even if Freddy's falls they're more than equipped to keep going.
We don't really know much about them now, but rest unassured that they WILL be an issue in the next book.
Forgive me I promised a gif but all I got right now is a vet bill and my last thread of sanity starting to fray. I will be back soon I prommy
Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that! D8 Pets always come first, so don't worry about anything else. I hope they recover quickly! 🫂
More of a silly question, but any chance of maybe seeing the Puppetlings in Home?
I'm really, REALLY hoping to find a way to get them in there. XD I can't garuntee that they'll be haunted though!
honestly I was wondering about mike’s age and being surprised mikemari was 4 years apart (not that it matters)
Yeah, I noticed the gap had gotten weirdly wide too considering that they were supposed to be closer than that. O.o It makes a lot more sense now that I really thought about it. Because I was thinking maybe it was Mari's age that was wrong, but nah, it was definitely Mike's.
So! Correct ages are 22 and 24. ^_^ As it was originally supposed to be.
Mike's Age in the Home Series
Quick note on ages in Home! I did a list of 'em a while back, but something always felt a little off about some of the ages. I was mulling over it today and I think technically Mike should be 24, not 25.
Because when I started writing CGHA, Mike and Mari were supposed to only have a year in between them. With Mari at 19 and Mike at 21, and then Mike turned 22 sometime after that. (Technically Mari turned 19 sometime at the beginning of CGHA, I just wasn't mathing at the time lol)
And Mike and Foxy were specifically supposed to be the same age, but for some reason I had Foxy at 24 and Mike at 25.
So Mari turning 22 in GHIAB with Mike already 25 doesn't make any sense!
And thus, Mike is actually 24, not 25.
This might seem like the most unimportant thing in the world. And it is. XD
Happy late 10 years anniversary of CGHA!
Thank you so much! 😊
Hellooo, I have returned with more drawings, I hope that's okay.
It's kind of a mix of things this time, some doodles based of ARI Nightmares, some more things of Marley (the wawa), and a good handful of meme redraws.
(I had to cut the canvas into smaller pieces because the file was too big. If there's readability issues feel free to let me know)
Some reaction doodles of Chapter 105 at the end here (late since chap 106 literally went up last night) mostly for the funnies, but also because I was going through it.
I'm sure there may be more doodles in the future, since drawing the Home crew and Home adjacent stuff is getting me through the GHIAB finale, but that's it for now. Now, I return to the shadows and disappear to read Chapter 106, which will surely emotionally wreck me.
You have a good day!
OH MY, THESE ARE SO GOOOOD- WHERE DO I BEGIN?!?! 8D
Okay, first off, ADORE the Mike Puppet design! He looks so unique, and yet somehow it feels very him. That is, I could see him looking very smug and that works for him 100%. (This is the man who swore in front of his child and still looked chill despite him signing his death warrant) Speaking of, MORE MARLEY! 8D Oh, I love that design for her as a puppet, but I hate how it can never exist because she's too precious to become a puppet. 🥺Maybe it's remote controlled? I'd be willing to break the rules of the universe, I just don't know how.
AHH AND THE ARI PART TOO! They look so adorable together! ^_^ I mean, all of your pictures pull that off, but had to bring that one up.
My favorite is- well, other than the whole swear comic, that's gold- but has to be the Mari and Mike AU sheet. That would be such a cool idea!... Oh, Gabe would hate every moment of the Puppet!Mike scenario. XD You know it would lead to eventual chaos.
I still have to read all of the reactions you had- I saved that for last- but I wanted to thank you so, so much because these are BEAUTIFUL! 8D And made me very happy in a little bit of a tough time 🫂Thank you so much!
Also: Gonna have to make that Ennard/M2 relationship canon now. Millie too, but especially M2 and his big 'ol eyes. XDD
