Yeah thatâs fair, I personally feel like thatâs less to do with the multiple plot lines and more to do with Scottâs incompetence of working with Steel Wool in Securing Breach. Prior to Help Wanted, the Fnaf games was only a one man job which resulted in (mostly) an understandable story. However, it also resulted in Scott being used to working alone and secretive and when he was finally working with a team, he still kept doing it. It worked at first but if youâre going to work on a game as big as SB, then you shouldâve told the team the story at least. Because in retrospect, SB is kinda the most important modern game if that was the game that was supposedly intended to introduce the next big bad and he fumbled it. Thankfully, he seems to have learned his lesson and actually works with SW as an actual team now with Ruin and Sotm as proof.
And if anything, I actually argue your plot concerns is exactly why I think there should be one more game before the grand finale (regardless if said game has an aquatic theme or not). The modern games still have so many questions to be answered that I feel ending the current story now would feel rushed. Who knows, maybe most of your questions will be answered by the combined effort of two games.
I apologize of both the long tangent and accidentally stretching the topic in 3 messages đ . I promise that was not on purpose, I just have a lot on thoughts of what you just said. This is hopefully my last message about the topic so, uhh, bye đ.
Oh, no! I like having something to talk about that's more complicated, but there's a whole lot of layers! ^_^ So, don't feel like you're imposing or anything!
True! That was a, uh, bit of a mistake. đ I think, and this is my assumption, that he was afraid the plot would get leaked. But instead it went in the opposite direction. Things are better now, but we can still expect to run into the same writing tropes and stuff that Fnaf's familiar with.
Honestly, I don't think we should be expecting a grand finale just yet. It sort of feels like we just started the second plot, a little too soon to hit the breaks and jump to the next one. One more game is a must, but even then I feel like we'd be crunching some stuff. You know?
