"Iris" Day 12. I only get to spend a couple of hours before work today, but I'm hoping to finish the blue highlights in the ears. I love how the thread and fabric transform the piece they're in. Though beautiful (and great to work with), these Cherrywood blues look a little flat. Add a shiny 40wt Isacord polyester in a slightly lighter shade, and the colors become so much more vibrant! The thread by itself didn't look this velvety, but the fabric sure made it look richer. Another happy marriage!
