maya and you had been in an online relationship, before finally meeting up after a few months of dating and moving in together just a few months after meeting each other in person for the first time
while it would take the two of you a few more years to actually get married, it began to feel as if you were a married couple just a few weeks after living together
while neither of you brought marriage up, both of you assumed that you'd eventually end up marrying each other. after all, you couldn't really imagine finding anyone more compatible with you!
when you eventually ended up getting married, not a lot actually changed! after all, the two of you had been living together for so long by that point…
the only thing that began to change a bit was maya's cooking! she had always been a horrible cook and the two of you mostly ate food you ordered or microwave dishes
but now that you were married, maya wanted to be a good wife for you! and that included learning how to cook
it started with simple dishes like scrambled eggs, pasta and some fried rice. but over time, maya managed to learn how to cook proper meals for you!
while her cooking improved, her cleaning skills were still lacking. maya wa often times all over the place, always forgetting to put away her things, which led to a mess that you had to clean up
and while maya keeps saying she'll better herself in that regard as well, you know that it'll be even harder for her to stay organized than it would be for her to learn how to cook
despite your rather boring everyday life, filled with adult tasks such as cleaning and cooking, the two of you still managed to keep your relationship exciting!
even after all your time together, maya and you still regularly played video games together!
you even had a small area in the living room with your computers set up, as well as some of the merch from the games you enjoyed, that you bought for each other as valentines day, christmas or birthday gifts!
