Even liked Mikael and tried to kiss him. Mikael did not like this because of his religion. Even blamed himself and tried to cure himself by studying the Koran and as we know from Sonja, tried to learn it by heart. He even tried to take his own life. When he came down from his high and up from his depression, he probably deleted every online channel of his. Then he saw this cute blond boy and after a few weeks of observing him, he tried to get to know him. Finally Even and Isak kissed and life was beautiful. Then suddenly Isak became distant and ignored Even. Even probably thought he had done it again, done the same thing he did with Mikael. He had misunderstood the situation and overstepped and everything was his fault. He wrote a message to Isak telling him he loved him and goodbye. 

And then Isak saved Even.

You know, there’s really only one quote that has followed me for a long, long time and it’s one I find myself thinking of often. It’s this:

“Love is friendship set on fire” - Jeremy Taylor (a clergyman in the 1600′s)

I just love that quote so much and it’s just the truest thing. You can’t have one without the other. :)
