Ramble
I recently had this thought that it’s finally time to draw a manga. I’ve actually had a little bit of experience with the manga format before—11 pages in total. (My first mini-project was 6 pages and the second was 5, but I’m definitely not posting them. I rushed through both and now I'm just too embarrassed by my wonky art style 🤗 You’ll just have to guess what I drew there, hehehe.)Anyway, I’m getting sidetracked. Two days ago, I got super hooked on the idea of making a one-shot. It feels like the perfect way to show off my skills and actually tell a complete story. Sure, it’ll be short, but hey, no one becomes a legendary writer overnight, right? Yesterday I was working on the script, and honestly, it felt like I was writing a whole novel 😅I’d say about 1/4 of it is done, but keep in mind that’s just the script. Given everything that’s going on in my life right now, my guess is that the first manga won't drop until next summer. 😥But to keep my few (but absolutely amazing!) readers happy, I have some good news: I’ll still be posting my regular art, so you won’t be left with nothing. Right now, I’m working on a super mini 3-page story. I have no idea when it’ll be ready, but stay tuned! :)
p.s. But hey, if I don't make it by next year, please don't fight me. 😆
Here's something to comfort you:
If you read the whole thing, you’re a hero. Thank you!
Mission accomplished!
