so, at the school i got to, it has 2 separate sites. The upper and lower school. The lower school has students in years 7-9 (grade 6-8) and the upper school holds students in years 10-13 (grade 9-12).
so, there's this story. It's the same character but in 2 different schools.
Let me tell you the story about the “Black Nun”
Okay, so the lower school has 3 staircases. one in the far right, far left and one right in the middle. My school is a Catholic school and was the first available school for girls who lived in Camden (the borough). So there's this story about this nun. She was the only black nun and she went up to the roof, on the left staircase. She went up to the roof and killed herself. No one knows why she jumped from the roof. People say that her ghost haunts the left staircase to this day.
I’m not very familiar with this version because I only found out about yesterday. Okay, so the upper school is very creepy. Its the original building and is obviously old and creaky and ominous. There's this room, right at the top of the school, and bearing in mind, this school is about 5 floors, so it's quite high up.
so at the back of the corridor that the room is situated on, there are these spiral staircases. They’re old, unsafe, no one is allowed to use them.
my english teacher told us that the black nun haunts that staircase because she killed herself from those staircases.
but yes both stories are as creepy as eachother and i cannot wait to move into the new building that they’ve built.
