One thing that’s always been in the back of my mind ever since I first watched season nine was Abel, specifically when Cain explains why he killed his brother:

Abel wasn't talking to God. He was talking to Lucifer. Lucifer was gonna make my brother into his pet. I couldn't bear to watch him be corrupted, so I offered a deal -- Abel's soul in heaven for my soul in hell.

I just wonder about him sometimes. He’s clearly meant to be a parallel to Sam and I can’t help but question whether Lucifer treated Abel with the same kind of tenderness(?) that he offered Sam in season five. I find myself questioning what kind of thing they talked about, whether Lucifer really did want to make him ‘into his pet’ like Cain thought. He’s this whole character who we’ll (probably) never meet and it makes me curious. (I also wonder what his parallels to Sam say about Sam’s relationship to Lucifer, but I have nowhere near enough brain power to write that meta.)
