I for one think it’s great Cas is into BDSM
i love it when he sits like this
[x]
misha: [...] so okay cool cas is into bdsm and there's assless chaps. so there you go. i'm sorry! i just had to keep going with it. suzanne is looking at me so disappointed like "misha why'd you have to do that?"
jensen: i think there was, and this is not something- there was something that happened in the show that touched on something. i think that there could've been more exploration into dean's love of cosplay. i think maybe he was, you know, he secretly would get dressed up and go to comiccons and not tell sam
misha: so true
jensen: yeah! he's a big- i mean dean was kind of a big nerd. don't let the gruff exterior fool ya, i think he was- it was a lot of relatability to that guy. which is why i enjoyed playing him for so many years, but yeah i would go with: he is a big cosplay nerd
jensen ackles - spn con, las vegas - nevada, united states - jan 2026 [ig]
It has been 3 years since my last convention, and I wanted to do something different. I’ve never had a duo photo with Jensen and Misha, so I wanted it to be good. For Misha I made a Jeremy Bradshaw sculpture, and for Jensen Soldier boy. I'm very happy that they really liked the sculptures I made! I got to take two photos cause Misha wanted to showcase the sculptures more. I’ve loved showing the cast my art over the years, and this was a great moment.
As for the autographs, I always enjoy talking about my sculpting process with Misha. We were just talking about how one of these are made. Really great to see him again. I highly recommend the Bridgewater podcast.
My autograph with Jensen was very special. The handler and Jensen were agreeing that it's the best 3D form of his likeness. As a traditional sculptor, I was honored to hear that because he is not easy to sculpt. He then took a video of it. That was very cool an unexpected. Overall, great con!
Some things I noticed about JenMish on the vegascon panel:
Jensen's self-evident amusement and delight being on stage with Misha
The way Jensen and Misha kept checking in with each other on the questions. Many silent conversations were happening, as the gears in their heads turned on how to answer
Which fits with something I have often observed about them, how they support each other on stage, silent check-ins, as well as how each of them makes space and tries to draw each other out, it's very balanced.
Jensen and Misha's style of listening intently to each other showed
Jensen physically herding Misha into the right position to do The Jump
Some things I noticed about JenMish on the spnnorfolk panel:
There was much hands on the shoulder or light touches, or pats. That went both ways.
Misha made sure he encouraged lots of room for Jensen to talk about his projects and his process, which is something Misha has often done on JenMish panels. He tries to draw Jensen out and is one of Jensen's biggest cheerleaders and fans.
Jensen in turn encouraged Misha and brought up things to draw Misha out and showed again his respect for Misha
Misha and Jensen talking about the difficulties of getting things greenlit in today's Hollywood economy and talking about producing Bridgewater together. They are both cautiously optimistic that will happen at Amazon. (fingers crossed)
Jensen doing his unicorn laugh
Misha doing his big grin and throwing his head back laughing too
Jensen talking about how he coached Misha during his wrestling match with Jared years ago
Misha talking about the friendship they formed on screen and off with Jensen nodding along and then affirming that with "yes, pal"
More of a general observation about JenMish but that showed on both panels, is JenMish as a mutually supportive team, who watches out for each other, and is fond of each other.
new photos of Jensen Ackles at SPNLV 26!
