The ghost of half a Japanese schoolgirl who for some reason I always picture with a French accent? Good horror host.

Hammy funeral home director who’s actually the Devil? Good horror host.

A guy with a bowl of rice for a head? Not a good horror host.

And yes, I know where it comes from, that it’s a Japanese funeral custom where you put out a bowl of rice with chopsticks in it for the spirits.

That does not change the fact that it’s a guy with a goddamn bowl of rice for a head.
