Isla Rosier | @islxrosier
Congratulations, Myr & welcome to The Sacred!
You have been accepted for the role of ISLA ROSIER with the face claim of LUCY BOYNTON.
I was so excited to see your application in the inbox and am delighted to welcome you back to The Sacred 2.0! It’s clear you have a firm grasp on Isla as a character and I thoroughly enjoyed the details you put into the application. The traits chosen for her make a great deal of sense and the headcanons show how deeply you’ve thought about Isla as a character. I really adored the secret career you’ve given her and look forward to seeing how that plays out on the dash.
Please view the checklist and send your blog into the main!
age: 27 blood status: pureblood affiliation: neutral suggested faces: carlson young, lucy boynton, erin doherty
If her brother was a bull in a china shop, Isla was the porcelain doll sitting on the shelf. She’s always done everything expected of her, even if she preferred to lose herself in her books than ensure her dance card remained full. She’s realized, over the years, that doing the expected thing is not personally fulfilling. After visiting her brother on her travels, Isla grew disenchanted with the lifestyle most purebloods lead and wishes to do more than simper over tea and manipulate over cocktails. Unfortunately, it is not nearly so simple as it sounds.
Connections
Evan Rosier
She’d spent the better part of her life resenting her brother - for his ability to make his own choices, for his freedom. It was only after visiting him on his travels that the two siblings were able to reconnect. Now that they’re both back in Britain, Isla feels the old resentments bubbling up.
Rowan Fawley
The Fawley girl was much too vapid for Isla’s taste and yet a friendship had sprung up between them rather easily. She disapproves heavily of Rowan’s fickle nature, but still feels a large measure of protectiveness over the younger woman. Some days, her feelings might be more, but she’s yet to admit it.
Bellatrix Lestrange
Of her Black cousins, Bellatrix has always been Isla’s favorite. She admires how her cousin lives life on her own terms, how she has taken their way of life and twisted it for her own goals. Sometimes, however, she wonders if Bellatrix’s affection comes with conditions attached to it.
Haunt me
Leave a “Haunt Me” in my ask, and I’ll write a drabble about my character watching over yours.
Death was not final, as he had come to learn. Even though he had not elected to become a ghost, his spirit lingered on in the realm of the living, unnoticed by all who were still there. Hearts still beat, blood still pumping, making as many mistakes as they could before their lives were cut from them.
Each day, Octavius had found someone new to watch over. Today was Isla Rosier’s turn.
She looked troubled, a frown almost permanent on her face and he wondered what had happened to her. She looked as lovely as ever, but still, sadness lingered in her eyes and the downward tilt of her lips had him curious.
He wanted to shake her, to tell her to not be as he had been and actually enjoy living her life. Go outside, turn her frown the other way and grab life in both hands. His had come to an early stop. Hers, he knew, had a long way to go yet.
There was a knock at the door and he turned. Her brother entered. “It is time, Isla”.
She stood and nodded, taking a deep breath and leaving the room. He wanted to follow, truly he did, but he unlike when he was living, as a dead man he respected privacy where he could.
Whatever she was about to do, he was sure she would not want an unseen audience.
