When choosing a spouse in this dunya choose someone who has a thirst for beneficial knowledge, someone who always makes an effort to improve his/her deen and his/her relationship with Allah and most importantly teach yourself to be that person too... seek knowledge like there is no tomorrow

A man with Taqwa ♡

Imam Shuray رحمه الله said about his wife Zainab:

"I have seen men beating their women. May my right hand be paralyzed if I beat Zainab. Zainab is like a sun and other women are like stars, when the sun rises, other stars do not shine."

The main supplication of Ibrahim ibn Adham رحمه الله was:

"Oh Allah, move me from the humiliation of disobeying You to the honor of obeying You.

Musa (عليه السلام) read this dua when he had nothing. He got a place to stay, a wife and a job soon after!

Translation: O my Lord, surely, I am in dire need of whatever good You may bestow upon me.

قُلْ يعِبَادِىَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُواْ عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ لاَ تَقْنَطُواْ مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ﴿ 

Translation: Say: “Oh My servants who have transgressed against themselves! Despair not of the mercy of Allah!” 

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud: This is the verse in the Qur’an which brings the most relief.
