Where are you headed?

To your rabb, most definitely! But are you prepared? Do you act like you are going to meet Him? Assess yourself. Which path have you taken? Will your journey lead you to become someone Allah loves?

I find this ayah immensely sad. Because it summarises what we have become, we choose everyone and everything over Allah. And I don’t know what can be more sad. It’s like Allah created all of this for us, these skies, the sun, these mountains, these stars, our very own body, food and what not. And yet we ignore His deen, His religion. And above all we fail to be his servants.It’s like Allah loves us so much, and yet we hurt ourselves by not loving Him back. He sent us a loving prophet , a perfect book only to guide us towards His jannah. And yet we chose Jahanum. Why?
