Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence and I’m pretty sure the new-ish band Islander, are not examples of this and yet they still get labeled as such.

If you ever need a pick me up during the day, if at any time you feel like you can’t make it or that the walls are caving in and your drowning or that there is no point to any of this anymore...please...listen to this song. It’s rock/metal, but it’s beautiful. It has helped me through a lot, and I hope it can keep you fighting as well. It breeds hope.
