Went to a local monger and told the fella that I wanted a dust pan big enough to clear away something like an accident involving something feral. It hadn't happened at this point but I knew it was the sort of trade lingo that mongers grasp. He pointed down isle four. Things were going well, and in my experience isle four often has biscuits. Not this time, but it did house pans across the floor. They were a bit dusty but I just put that down to their instincts and snatched one away. I didn't choff it, or whatever the term is. I took it to the man who had sent me there and told him that I would like this one, even though it had a big yellow sticker emblazoned across it which said Yeoman. I should make clear before I get ahead of the details that the pan came with a colour matched brush. I don't have that bit anymore, just so we're clear. Anyway I got the chequebook out ... no its gone. Sorry. It was a good story. Something about a mouse? It ran along some shelving and he thrashed it into the next life with my chequebook?
