In what ways has someone hurt you? Who?
I’ve been tortured in ways most people can’t even imagine, the things you see in movies don’t really come close when I think about what I’ve gone through. When I was 10 years old I was strapped to a metal table while the dread doctors made me swallow mountain ash. It burned something awful, it got in my nose, coated the back of my mouth until I couldn’t breathe.. The only respite I had was when they forced the wolfsbane down my throat, Blue Monkshood, Yellow Wolfsbane, Purple Wolfsbane, they tried them all. It hurt, it was one of the worst pains I’d ever gone through, but as a chimera it didn’t affect me the way it would a true supernatural. That’s what they wanted to know, they wanted to know if it would kill me. In that way I was a profound success. By the time I was 12 I didn’t even flinch anymore, so they no longer had a reason to strap me down.
What your favorite color? Foods? Weathers/Seasons?
There’s a very specific color I like, it’s like the color of the ocean. A sort of sea green, but mostly it’s blue. Intense and beautiful. Like a jewel. When I look at it, when I see that color I think of someone and that makes me happy, like really happy. Other than that I don’t have a favorite anything, food is food and weather.. I’ve never had a preference that I can think of.
Do you make friends easily? Talk about them for a little bit.
I was never that good at making friends, I think in a way I learned how to pretend, how to manipulate a situation and get people to like me. But I never made true friends that way, but once upon a time I had a few really good friends, I hung out with them as much as I could. I would trade toys with them, do anything I could to make them smile. I even gave away my favorite stuffed animal when they scraped their knee all because I wanted them to feel better.
Are you an open person or are you closed off?
Maybe once I was, but that part of me is long gone. I prefer to stay to myself most days, keep things to myself. To be open with someone means to show them every part of you, the fears, the ugly parts you don’t want anyone to see. To be open means to be raw and I don’t know how to be that person anymore.
