He said, “you can enjoy your Faith, but you gotta listen to the Clark Sisters.” I knew who Karen was because Faith appeared on her album, but the only Clark Sisters song I really knew was #IsMyLivingInVain and that’s because of Xscape’s first album. ... Everywhere we went, we would be bumping the Clark Sisters LOL! He made me tons of mix CDs and videos of their material and I fell in love with them. We eventually broke up, but fast forward to their comeback album #LiveOneLastTme in 2007, I go to my first Clark Sisters concert and guess who I see?? My ex! And it was nothing but love and respect between him and I, enjoying the show. It was special. ... Now fast forward to today, this remarkable amazing movie was everything the whole wide world needed to see during this pandemic. This movie is a long time coming. Their story definitely needed to be told. All you beautiful girls threw down in this movie! Bravo! 👏🏽 I really enjoyed it and so did my mom. She watched it three times so far! The Clark Sisters taught me how to growl a little bit lol! Twinkie, Karen, Dorinda, Jacky and the original high soprano herself, Denise!
