Isobutanol edges up to a fresh near-term high
Isobutanol ended the latest week higher, pushing the benchmark to the strongest level seen in the current run. The change was measured, but it kept the short-term structure firm for buyers benchmarking delivered costs.
The assessment reached Rs 81/kg on 02 March at Kandla (imported tanker load), up Rs 2.5/kg from 25 February. On a fortnight line, the marker is Rs 3/kg above Rs 78/kg seen around 16 February, keeping the advance intact. For teams tracking Indian Isobutanol prices, this matters because it builds on February’s steady improvement rather than reversing it.
The month view shows the series Rs 5.5/kg above Rs 75.5/kg, while the three-month comparison is Rs 7.25/kg higher than Rs 73.75/kg. Against the six-month reference, the market stands Rs 3.5/kg above Rs 77.5/kg, placing the current level in a firmer bracket over time. Recent markers show a low near Rs 72.75/kg and a high around Rs 81/kg, with the latest print at the top end. Volatility has largely been expressed through stepwise gains, keeping day-to-day movement contained while the trend remains upward for Isobutanol prices in India, Isobutanol, Isobutanol Prices, Edges Up, Near Term High, Chemical Market, Petrochemicals, Price Trend.
