We here at Isolda love a good story and we believe that everyone has their own story to tell! We seek to immortalize each monogram or visual identity project with motifs that represent each individual in a personalized way. For my son's birth we created a playful monogram developed especially for him. It all started when I was researching a wallpaper for his nursery. After a lot of research, I discovered and fell in love with the work of the 1920s English architect Charles Voysey. “The Orchard” is the name of the design that I was enchanted by, but when trying to order it, I found that that specific design was out of line, the brand designers were working to restore it, but it would only be ready long after birth. . Anyway, the wallpaper that I couldn't have served as my starting point. What I loved most about him was the presence of elements such as the rooster and the hen, fruit trees that convey to me a little of the flavor and innocence of childhood. I immediately remembered the series of paintings of chickens and roosters made by my sister and artist Leticia Laxon. I've always loved these drawings and being able to enjoy them by mixing with new paintings of other elements came naturally. What I love most about my creative process is this mystery of starting from a place without knowing where we are going to land. A rooster, a hen, oranges, leaves, a chick with broken eggs representing birth and tennis rackets, a special touch at the request of the father! And so the Fred emblem was born. From it we create unique handmade embroidery for cribble’s sheets, cookies - almost too special to eat - as souvenirs, personalized cards. It is very special to register this moment with art in memories that we will keep forever.
