Día de Muertos en San Cristóbal

I had many time since my last picture about Isolde and Talbott. I took advantage of my streak of inspiration with the beautiful draw about Candy Vigiere and Talbott (you can see my last publish), to do one for me.

I know it's very late, (November will finish soon), but I did the scene in San Cristóbal de las Casas with Tal and Isa, on Día de Muertos' celebration.

If you read my fics or my older publish here, Tadao Hiwatari Olivares was Isolde's father, and he was Mexican born in Chiapas. He worked for Gringotts but died in the First Magical War. He was buried in his hometown (it was his wish, like the song "Mexico lindo y querido" by Jorge Negrete: "If I die far from you/Let them say that I'm asleep/and bring me here").

Since they were in Hogwarts, Isa had been talked with Talbott about her ethnicity and her traditions. One of them, of course, is to celebrate this day and commemorate her loves ones who had passed away. (She usually create "la ofrenda" -altars with offerings to the deceased-, every year since she was a child).

Winger, since they're friends, was interested about this tradition, getting more and more involved, helping her to create the altar every year since they're in 7th year. In this picture, they're nearly 23-24 years old. And Isa convinced him to make up with her like catrines: she wears a Chiapas tradicional dress and Talbott, a Taumalipas tradicional suit.

By the way, I publish a version without make-up, too.

Pocky Day

Finish! I tried to paint the sunset again, but in this time in the grounds and autumn scenary. About the history it's obvious, Talbott and Isolde are playing the Pocky game. By the way I drew and painted the new Talbott's outfit.

Cosas que a nadie le interesa (?)

Estoy pensando en hacer el Angstruary a pesar de que ya estemos a la mitad de marzo. Algunos de esos prompts, se dirigirán a la historia de Isolde. Exceptuando el Hanahaki, el cual había planeado para otra de mis OC, Cassandra Hiwatari, la madre de Aneshka Black, quién convivió con los Merodeadores y tuvo un amor no correspondido.

Sin embargo hace unos días mi bendita imaginación culera, pensó un What if...? Sobre Talbott e Isolde. Tanto con un final feliz como trágico. Tomando el Hanahaki como una enfermedad endémica de las razas de magos/brujas asiáticos (la cual ya era parte del oneshot).

Como sea sólo quería sacarlo de mi pecho.

"Friends don't look at each other the way you two do"

This day they were practicing the Vermillious charm. As usual, the room was full of noise from all the students who were saying that spell out loud. Rowan was one of them. When she wanted to ask her best friend, Isolde Hiwatari, if she was done well the spell, Khanna found her was speaking and looking at Talbott Winger, who was doing the same with Hiwatari.

It wasn't the first time they did. Rowan remembered this behavior of them started the last June, when Isa was about to go to The Fear Vault. She knew Hiwatari had been fallen in love with him since December. However, Isolde always said Talbott saw her like a friend only, and she never would try again to confess her true feelings for Winger, after she did in this classroom, in front of Professor Flitwick like only witness, before she erased that memory of his mind.

On the other hand, Talbott never had talked out loud about his feelings, but Rowan had been observed him when Isa started a relationship with André. Winger was jealous, and this was the true reason he avoided and didn't speak with Isolde for days, they had fought and almost broke their friendship.

Fortunately, after Rowan gave him the advice he had to speak with Isolde, they fixed their friendship. And now they had been closer than ever, like they were soulmates for all theirs lives or they were legilimens and they could read their minds each to other.

But they said 'we are friends', yet. How could they be so blind about their feelings?

They could be her friends (Talbott didn't admit it, but now he trusted in her more), but sometimes, Rowan wish she could take and lock them in a closet until both confessed they were fallen in love.

"Friends don't look at each other the way you two do" said Rowan out loud. She didn't care if they could listen her.

And they did, because they fell silent, blushing immediately.
