But...but I just despise the concept of violence as entertainment. Even if the main theme of the show is basically equality and freedom for all, there's so much of it that's simply violence for violence's sake. And also there's the blood. So so so much blood. I just really can't stand it. I stopped watching The Walking Dead in the middle of the second episode for just that reason.

That being said, what little I've seen of the other characters from the clips up on agron-and-nasir makes me want to just finger filter through the battle scenes. I adore the Crixus/Naevia relationship (I love the jackass-that-turns-into-a-big-softy-for-the-person-he-loves characters) and I basically just want to stick Spartacus in my pocket and keep him forever.

I'm wavering. I'll probably end up giving it a try, but I'm not sure how far I'll make it.

(Also, I did see the clips of Agron's backstory that are up on agron-and-nasir, so I'm not completely blind as to Agron's character outside of his relationship with Nasir. And honestly, I wasn't very fond of Daro. I liked him in the capacity that he was important to Agron, but as a character in and of himself I was just not impressed. I'm not entirely certain as to why, but he just didn't resonate with me, even if the character development he provides for Agron is necessary.)
