rolypon designs i maded,,, Beta Love is like one of my fav recent character designs rn because it made me fall in love with the album again. and Honey-B is cute as hell but im still debating on whether im attached enough to keep them around or not

made a ref for this guy :-) they’re the mascot for a little discord server i run for artists to share their work n uplift each other. more under the cut ^^

we have a few disabled members in the server (myself included) so it was important to me that they have a mobility aid that’s functional for their species + needs.

neurodivergence is also common in server members so i wanted to nod to that with noise cancelling headphones and a tendency to dress more for comfort

ultimately the server is full of artists of all disciplines and styles so i wanted the mascot to be an artist themselves, so they have wrist braces on every dominant hand and paint splotches on their shell.

it was also important to me that the design be simple and approachable for someone who wasn’t experienced with drawing bugs/isopods realistically, as another server member has a great design for a realistic guy. :-)

I have gotten into isopods a lot recently and I had to make one. They are basicaly just me, but isopod. I plan to get Lemon Blues soon. I think they are the best representative of me.

I am forcing my partners to make one too woh.
