Okay so idk if you guys know this, but this is happening here in India, and it is so heartbreaking! DOCTORS ARE BEING ATTACKED!
The pandemic situation in India is improving but it's still not good alright...ppl are still dying...due to lack of oxygen, required equipment, continuous electricity supply, and so on (in short all the things government should be held responsible for)... and the people who are losing their loved ones are angry. SO THEY ARE ATTACKING DOCTORS!!
I have seen the videos and photos and they are HORRIFIC! I was wincing and crying while watching them. I was, and still am wondering how cruel can someone be!
It is extremely difficult to become a doctor. In India, first you have to clear NEET, which is a very tough exam (takes at least 2 years of preparation, then 5 years of MBBS, 1 year of Internship, then 3 years PG, then 3 years of specialisation...so after studying for 14-15 years of their lives, this is how Doctors are being treated.
That young guy above had just cleared his MBBS, his name is Dr. Seuj Kumar Senpati, he must be about 25 years old.
This man in the purple shirt, he is Dr. Deepak, he is a 50 year old pediatrician.
There are countless warriors like them out there. Warriors who are being attacked by the people they are trying to protect.
This needs to be stopped! Doctors can't go on strikes or protest for their rights and protection because they have got lives to save
