Shoutout to the cranes, I feel like they were a little random but it’s also middle of the night so I might’ve not been picking up on something.
Tbh tho I thought Hazel was going to swoop out of the sky and save Grace? Clearly she’s been out for a while, since Simon’s appearance and behavior marked the passage of time, so why can’t Hazel have been training and learning under Amelia this whole time? Who’s to say wings aren’t out of the question? Her beak certainly lends itself to birds.
An origami crane is still a better symbol than a red soundwave though.

Good god this is what gets me about this scene—he’s standing over her, threatening, attacking, telling her he doesn’t believe a word she’s saying
And what does she do?
She doesn’t even look that afraid—and she tells him, “I know you’re in a lot of pain.”
And THAT is what we call character growth! That development! At the beginning, she couldn’t even bring up “his null” without feeling dodgy, ashamed, unable to look him in the eye without adopting this suave, confident persona.
But now, she can look up at this tyrant, know that she doesn’t owe him anything, say as much, and still be open and genuine with her emotions.

I have no idea if this is actually happening or not (is it still in her tape? if not, how long was she out for?) but I’m compelled nonetheless.
He stole her throne! Grew out his hair! Fully committed to the tyrannical Iron Throne bit! Continued on with the cult! Created a new term for her (a void is a leader who is no longer fit to lead!)
