i really love akko and andrew together actually, but i love em the most together with diana. a delicious dynamic wherein andrew gangs up on diana with akko lol

also, when did Diana start feeling like Akko shouldn’t be verbally abused for her supposed incompetence and inferiority as a witch? When she realised Akko actually tried very hard? And she managed great things due to that dedication? Yes partly I think, but then, she realised that Akko was the Chosen One, and I think that really tipped the scales - especially with Enemy Aunt Daryl now making the insults. The incongruity, of the assumptions (from a hated individual) versus what Diana now knows Akko to be capable of, and destined for, is what grated her - along with Aunt Daryl being a SHIT.

I feel like they foreshadowed Diana’s love for Chariot SUFFICIENTLY for someone who knew about it, but as a new viewer that would have COMPLETELY flown over your head.

The obviously cool thing is that Diana’s got the card that Akko never managed to collect.
