We had lobster for mother's day today and we boiled them, as we usually do. I looked up if lobsters could feel pain when they are boiled alive.

Yes. Yes they can. For up to 3 minutes before they die.

So I couldn't bring myself to eat the lobster. I don't like lobster, or seafood for that matter, but I especially didn't want to eat something that was tortured to death.

Luckily, my family ate the extra and I had leftover Chinese food. Win win.

Except for the lobster, of course.

Hey does it bug anyone else that the tech billionaire in the Work Study job was a quasai-ally? And was portrayed to be pretty much a chill dude, and the crews reactions to him were in line with that? Bc it felt really weird to me, and not keeping with the message of the show

Re-watching 5x11, and I'm still appalled at how dirty the writers did Josh.

I get that it was to show how Eddie didn't really belong in dispatch and to show us that he has given up on hope for himself.

But that shit hurt, Josh deserved better, the writers could have shown Eddie belonging in the 118 in so many other ways.

That scene was not necessary and did Josh a disservice.
