We had lobster for mother's day today and we boiled them, as we usually do. I looked up if lobsters could feel pain when they are boiled alive.
Yes. Yes they can. For up to 3 minutes before they die.
So I couldn't bring myself to eat the lobster. I don't like lobster, or seafood for that matter, but I especially didn't want to eat something that was tortured to death.
Luckily, my family ate the extra and I had leftover Chinese food. Win win.
Except for the lobster, of course.
