I swear to god, sometimes when i'm working on long fics it feels like i'm back at school. I take notes, make outlines with details and then use flashcards that i have left over from when i was studying bio, chem and mats and i do basic drafts to check if the pacing is good and to see if i have to add more stuff or take out something.
