People in the community:

-slashing nurses tires

-spitting at nurses

-posting on the hospitals fb page that everyone working there is disgusting and shouldn't be allowed out of the building

-not letting healthcare workers in stores

Ya know generally being assholes and making everyone coming to work feel shitty and like there's no reason to bother keeping the hospital open since its just painting a target on our backs. The ER nurses can't even wear their scrubs anymore because of the harassment they were facing. They have to wear street clothes then change into disposable scrubs in the building. But then also

A nursery nearby donated a bunch of flowers to all the workers and guys the attitude in this place. Nurses that were hiding in the bathroom crying are now carrying their plants around like they're babies and naming them. Some people are taking them home then bringing them back so they can carry them around.

It's almost like??? Healthcare workers? Are people? And like nice things??? And NOT to be yelled at if we happen to be wearing scrubs?
