Alright so, I know how the canon Legend games timeline works... but I wanna share my specific order because man the angst opportunities, and also I'm contemplating shoving Cadence of Hyrule in here somehow and want opinions.
Adventure 1: A Link to the Past (ALTTP) - No brainer of a first adventure.
Adventure 2: Triforce Heroes (TH) - Ft. Wind & Twilight, or Dopples. It depends but either way, 2nd adventure and it's relatively chill. Other than Zelda (Fable) freaking out for a while about Link suddenly disappearing.
Adventure 3: Oracle of Seasons (OoS)
Adventure 4: Oracle of Time (OoT) - While technically interchangeable with OoS, I'm picturing this coming later because I want Legend to be just a bit slightly more experienced when he meets Sir Raven. Still very subject to change cause I kinda gotta do more of a research binge on the events in each Oracle game.
Adventure 5: Link Between Worlds (LBW) - Yeah, not the last adventure before LU. :) I have reasons for it, but honestly it helps give just more time for fleshig out Hyrule & Lorule politic stuff.
Adventure 6: Link's Awakening (LA) - A HA TRAUMA TIME MY LOVE! In all seriousness though, I just really wanted this to be one of the latest adventures for Legend because it makes it more that he really was ready to settle down with Marin. He left Hyrule to go sailing to clear his head and have a vacation after the latest mess, caught in a storm, washes ashore, meets Marin. The two fall in love, but we all know what happens.
Adventure 7: Echoes of Wisdom (EOW) - As someone who believes in and uses the Legend and Fable are twins theory, this game is so valuable to me. It's Legend's injuries catching up that he had gotten captured and Fable cares more about her brother than the Kingdom that she did the bare minimum just to make sure her brother wouldn't be disappointed in her before dipping to go rescue him herself. (She was really ready to dip w/o warning on ruling her kingdom).
So, yeah! Now, for Cadence of Hyrule, hm... I'm currently thinking of putting it between Triforce Heroes and the Oracle games, or between LBW and LA. I originally thought of putting it between TH and ALTTP, but then I remembered the crucial detail of Legend needing to be younger than Aryll for my story take on TF which would be hard if I insert another story in between. But yeah... I want opinions on where y'all think CoH could fit.
Or, well I'm also contemplating another option that is not giving CoH to Legend, but rather to his grandson who isn't actually a Link. But then I remembered the thing about the younger-ish Ganon or somwthing I heard about in the game so eh...
