I double checked and Cub put the quest start by the diamond beacon, which is also where Zedaph got killed by an allay with pants though Zedaph’s death was closer to the edge. I am looking at this coincidence and taking psychic damage.
Wait. Really? *goes to check* Oh shit. It really is in the same space nearish the diamond beacon, yeah! Cub could've put that Allay head anywhere, and that's where he chose to put it? oml.
The thing is, Cub is 100% the type who would pick that spot deliberately and just not mention it, plus with the Allay use and the pillager themes in the quest itself I
